Life prior to Treatment

Life before transition - hard, confusion, life experiences, living as a woman was ok...but eventually was not right for me and caused great angst and suicidal feelings.. so much better now that I am manly

No change

Attitudes of HealthCare Providers

Positive aspects of healthcare provider treatment

Caring practical help with no judgments on being transsexual.

Negative aspects of healthcare provider treatment

Had quite hard time with conservative professionals and found this to be more abusive/judgmental and sexist than helpful.

Other Comments

Taking T is the best thing that had ever happened to me.. it was like coming home to myself.. it has its ups and downs and you get used to being a new person and your own rhythms with this.. a good doc will make all the difference.
