Testosterone at 25 years

better for it.
- I am at peace with myself and the rest of
society.
Life prior to Treatment

transition - Male
- The most common
emotion for me was depression.
Yes, I had an 'exit-plan'

Other Comments
I'd encourage you, if you
think you'd be more comfortable with male appearing
aspects of your body to look at all the options
before medical treatment. It's important to know
who you are to begin with, rather than heading into
transition to find out or just to explore your
gender. Explore all the options for being happy in
your life before getting yourself into some kind of
confusing place where things are more complicated,
because you never knew who you were before
treatment.
It's always a good thing
for men to get involved in men's groups and read
something about masculinity - there's a good book
called "manhood" by Steve Biddulph and other good
writers about being men in Australia. I think this
is really important stuff for men, and I wish it
was more emphasised in FTMA.
