Description

  • Sustanon Injection '100' contains testosterone propionate 20 mg, testosterone phenylpropionate 40 mg, testosterone isocaproate 40 mg in arachis oil.
  • Sustanon Injection '250' contains testosterone propionate 30 mg, testosterone phenylpropionate 60 mg, testosterone isocaproate 60 mg and testosterone decanoate 100 mg in arachis oil.
  • Manufactured by Organon Australia.

A doctor's prescription is required to obtain this medication.

General Information

  • Sustanon® should be administered by deep intramuscular (i.m.) injection, usually into the buttock.
  • In general, dosage should be adjusted according to the response of the individual patient. Usually, one injection of 1ml per three weeks is adequate for Sustanon® '250'. Usually, one injection of 1ml per two weeks is adequate for Sustanon® '100'.
  • Testosterone injections should be avoided in men with bleeding disorders, including those men taking anti-coagulants (blood thinning medication).

Australian PBS

Authority required when prescribed to males through the Australian PBS.
Androgen deficiency in males with established pituitary or testicular disorders.
Androgen deficiency in males 40 years and older who do not have established pituitary or testicular disorders other than aging, confirmed by at least 2 morning blood samples taken on different mornings. Androgen deficiency is confirmed by testosterone less than 8 nmol per L, or 8-15 nmol per L with high LH (greater than 1.5 times the upper limit of the eugonadal reference range for young men).
Micropenis, pubertal induction, or constitutional delay of growth or puberty, in males under 18 years of age.
