At the present time, the Monash Medical Center coordinates a group of private specialists involved in the treatment of gender dysphoria. In 1988 the service was transfered to the Monash Medical Centre.

Currently the Victorian Government funds only the very basics of this service, meeting administrative costs.

Specialists take a team approach to carry out assessment, counselling, referral and research with a multi-disciplinary framework.

To find out more of the process with Monash, you can contact the clinic directly.
