How do I join the FTM Australia email
list?
- Become a member of
FTM Australia - Click
here for membership information
- Send a blank email to: ozguys-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
or join at the egroups website: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ozguys/
- Send an email to ozguys@ftmaustralia.org
with a short introduction about yourself
including approx. where in Australia or NZ
you're at. This is will be your introduction
to the rest of the group.
It won't be long before you hear back about
your subscription.
How do I post a message?
Sending an email message to a mailing
list is no different to sending email to a
friend. However, when you send an email message
to a mailing list, every member on the group
gets a copy.
The email address for the group is OzGuys@yahoogroups.com
Please put a short description of your
message content in the SUBJECT line of your
email. This allows people to skip over topics
that they don't wish to read. The subject will
also let other members know what your post is
about.
It is assumed that you have read and
understood the Guidelines.
How do I change my email or my
subscription?
If you ever want to unsubscribe or
change your options (eg, switch to or from
digest mode, change your password, etc.), please
visit the OzGuys homepage - sign in and click on
"Edit Membership".

I have sent a message to the email list, but it
didn't appear. Why?
One of the following has occurred
- You might not be a list member.
- You might be emailing from a different
email address than the one you subscribed
with.
- You sent an email that looked like a spam
mail.
- Your email is still travelling to the
list.
- Your email message might have breached
the Guidelines.
If so, Craig will be in touch.
I'm an FTM Australia member, why aren't I
on the list?
It is up to you to subscribe youself to
the email list.
I thought I was on the list. What
happened?
One of the following could happened
- Your email address changed.
- Your email address was bouncing
- Your 'out of office' or 'vacation'
message was turned on and we received
multiple emails from you
- You breached the Guidelines
for the third time and have been removed from
the group.
I've subscribed but I am not receiving any
messages.
- Double check your email and make sure
that you replied to the confirmation email
sent to you from Yahoo!groups. You must
reply to the confirmation email in
order to complete your subscription.
- Doublecheck your e-mail address is the
one you entered to join the list.
- If none of these solutions work, email
Craig for help.
How do I get messages in digest format?
- If you want to turn digest mode on
or off please visit the FTM Australia
webpage

- Click on "Edit Membership". You
can change the way you receive emails under
the "Message Delivery" heading.
- If that doesn't work for you, email Craig
for help.
I want to get single emails as they are posted
- how do I make this change?

My email is coming through okay - but when I
try to post I'm told I'm not a member. What's
wrong?
- It sounds like you're trying to post to
the list with an email address different from
what you joined the group with.
- Otherwise, something may have changed in
your email address.
Sometimes your Internet Service Provider
(ISP) can make a slight change to your email
address, for example from
YourName@server.com.au
to
YourName@server.com
- Even though your ISP is making sure you
get your email, the egroups system doesn't
recognise you any more.
- Sometimes this means you need to
re-subscribe under the new email
address.
I've unsubscribed but still keep getting
emails from the group.
- You might have subscribed under two
different email address. Make sure you've
unsubscribed from all the email
addresses you have subscribed with.
Someone I don't want to talk to has emailed
me.
- If you have had email contact from
someone in the group you don't want contact
from, usually by not replying to them will be
enough.
- If that doesn't work, and you've already
asked them not to contact you, email Craig
for help.
I still have an list problem that's not
answered above.
