Good news! Some people have
offered to write for Torque 2007. Sandy on Book
Reviews, Vikki Sinnott on Mental Health,
Phil from New Zealand on Music and
cartoonist Tapu will continue to contribute
throughout the year.
Last week (15 December 2006)
I crunched membership numbers.
We have a total membership
base of 238 throughout New Zealand and Australia.
This figure includes anyone who has signed on with
the FTMA/ MTRA network - individuals exploring
their gender, trans-gender people, doctors,
counsellors, partners and all men (identified
female at birth).
33 members said they have an
NESB/ATSI background (14%) and 31 members were
service providers (14%).
Of the individuals who gave
their approx. age or year of birth - most were
between the ages of 35-39 years old (19%) and 25-29
years olds (18%).
In January I'll work on the
annual report (including financials) and make this
available and on the website as well.
Wishing you all a safe and
happy festive season,
Craig
